The etymology of the school came into existence in our country in very ancient times. The knowledge of keeping the body healthy with the ashes of gold was given by the wise in our country in ancient times and we are verifying this truth again on the scale of science in the 21st century with the advent of nanotechnology. It shows that the flow of knowledge is present from the beginning of the universe. That knowledge is of no use which would not work in the upliftment of the society and that behaviour would have been useless which would not create harmony in the society. Such children, who understand the true meaning of knowledge and behaviour and move forward with the same, are called responsible citizens of the future.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp in the school. The tiny devotees of Lord Krishna staged the childhood and character of Lord Krishna through colorful performances of songs,acts and dances
In the celebration program, children gave various presentations in which mainly dances on songs like Yashomati Maiya Se Bole and Badi Der Bhai Nand Lala captivated everyone .
Chairman of the school, Dr. Ompal Singh and Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra while congratulating everyone on Shri Krishna Janmotsav festival appreciated the programs presented by the children. This date marks the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, one of the most iconic figures in Indian sports history.National Sports Day not only commemorates his birth anniversary but also emphasises the importance of sports and physical activities in our daily lives. As we observe National Sports Day 2024, it is an opportune moment to reflect on the significance of sports in fostering national unity, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and inspiring the younger generation to engage in physical activities.

The school's class XII & class X CBSE board results 2024 once again remained hundred percent.
The promising children of the school once again showed, " when hard work and persistence come together,the success becomes the destiny".

In class 12, first place was secured by Priyanshu Singh with 97.6%, second place was snatched by Dipanshu Nain 97.4% and Himanshu 97.4% while third place was achieved by Ishika Vihaan with 96.8% of marks.

In class 10, first position was secured by Manasvi Panwar with 96.8 %, second place was secured by Suryansh Dwivedi with 95.6% and Saumya Singhal snatched the third place with 95.4% of marks.

On this occasion, the school's Chairman Dr. Ompal Singh, Manager Mrs. Kusum Rani and Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra congratulated all the students, their parents and teachers on the hundred percent results of the school and wished them a bright future.

(Domain: Career Counseling)

Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle Drive was organized by the Indian Air Force in the school. The eighteen member team of Disha led by Sqn Ldr Akshit Sharma, Flight Lieutenant Ravikant Rajiv and Flight Lieutenant Rohit, a unit of Hindon Air Base Ghaziabad, organized a drive with simulation enabled electric vehicle in the school for the children of classes XI and XII. The main objective of the drive was to encourage the children to contribute to the service of the country by joining the Indian Air Force. Under the program, first of all the children participated in a seminar on career opportunities in the Indian Air Force which was led by Sqn Ldr Akshit Sharma. In the seminar, children were told about the opportunities in the Indian Air Force after class XII Thereafter, the children learned the flying of an aircraft using simulator in IPEV under the guidance of Disha team. The Indian Air Force team distributed guidance booklets and goodies to all the children.
Chairman Dr. Ompal Singh and Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra thanked the Disha team of the Indian Air Force for the school visit, all the associated teachers and students for the successful conduct of the event.

International Labour Day is an occasion, obligated to commemorating the contributions of working people in every industry and sector.
A wonderful program was organized in the school on the occasion of 'Labour Day', in which children participated enthusiastically. The program was inaugurated by Chairman Dr.Ompal Singh. Vibrant children of the school impressed everyone with their brilliant presentation of speech, group songs and short drama ?Importance of Labour?. The rights of workers were explained through plays. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra explained to all the children the importance of work in the upliftment of the society and inspired them to give equal respect to workers of all classes.

To inculcate the leadership skills in students summer session of student council 2023 was held at school with great enthusiasm.
The event was started with the lamp lighting before Godess of multiple intelligence Maa Sarswati by the Reverend Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra.
In the ceremony various ranks were formally conferred on different students from four houses and various clubs of student council of the school. The position bearers of the student council were administered the oath by Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra.The student council members ensured to follow the school protocol and discipline among the rank and file. All the student incharges of white council, various houses and clubs participated in a meeting with students to acknowledge the pace of activities related to student council.

The program coordinators Ms. Neetu Singh, Ms. Madhu Yadav, Mr. Gopal Sharma, Mr. P.K. Rathi, Mr. Sagar Baisla, Ms.Aradhna, Mr. Yashpal, and Mr Mayank Gaur along with the house incharges contributed amazingly to bring the event up to the expectations.

The school Chairman Dr. Ompal Singh & Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra applauded the participation of teachers and students in the successful completion of the event and thanked the local media to cover the event.

NEP 2020 provides a strong framework for school education and higher education which will provide opportunities for education and skill development to children according to their interest and help them to become future citizens.NEP 2020 has sparked a revolution in curriculum development, assessment practices, and execution of pedagogical plans. It has encouraged educational institutions to revamp their teaching methods and align their curricula with the changing needs of the 21st-century world.

The vibrant Taxsilians commemorated the occasion of third anniversary of NEP 2020 through various activities. The students of all the wings participated in mass learning session on NEP during morning assembly . The session was addressed by the Principal of school Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra . He shared many important informations about NEP with the students. The students of Environmental Club planted the saplings in school under the campaign of One Child ,One Plant initiated by CBSE on the occassion of third anniversary of NEP 2020 in all affiliated schools. Taxsilians witnessed to the live streaming of inaugration of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam in New Delhi by the Honourable primeminister Mr. Narendra Modi. The speech given by prime minister motivated the children to be the part of nursery of future citizens which will make India fully developed in all fields.

A week-long English Fest 2023 gets culminated at school with many indelible memories. The celebration witnessed to the special assemblies, Shakespeare's plays , English exhibition featuring working models, motivational precepts, teacher and students' talks on the importance of English language, recitation of poems, book reviews, newspaper article reading and many more thought provoking inspirational activities by the students of English club.The event was aimed to enhance students' various competencies and skills in the subject of English and sharpen the LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) skills.

The School premises looked very artistic and conducive with the displays and charts on English Grammar, on different genres of English Literature and important English authors like William Shakespeare, Ruskin Bond, JK Rowling , John Keats, William Wordsworth and sundry.

The successful completion of the of English Week was attributed to the driving forces of the supportive management, inspirational mentoring of the Skill Coordinator Mr.Gopal Sharma , English HOD Mrs Madhu Yadav and the vibrant & energetic teachers of English Department. Taxsila Public School won the second position in Bharat Ko Jano Competition in Junior Category organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Meerut Main Branch. Dev Chaudhary and Yugal Tomar, students of grade VIII, were the members of the junior team. The first round of the competition was conducted in each school and for the second round, students from 20 schools of Meerut participated in it. It was organized on 9 October 2022 at City Vocational School, Meerut Cantt. Economy is the ultimate determinant of appropriate allocation of resources based on system of inter-related production and consumption activities. Department of Commerce conducted an inter-house "Economics Quiz" for the students of class XI.

The heterogeneous questions were put before quizzers from the fields of Micro and Macro Economics, Statistics and Indian Economy. Some other important questions were asked from the latest amendments done in the budget to test the subtle knowledge of Economics through various rounds.

A Mock Parliament, also referred to as a Model Parliament or Youth Parliament, is a simulated learning experience of the parliamentary proceedings of a legislature .

To make students understand the parliamentary procedure and to develop in students an insight into the working of parliament a session of mock parliament was conducted by the grade XI students of Humanities .
Students from mock opposition raised various public issues of their constituencies before mock ruling party. The questions were answered by the mock ministers .Pro-tem Speaker pacified the heated debate of the side and the opposition and urged all the members to run the mock parliament smoothly.

The vibrant performers of Taxsila have been instrumental in highlighting environmental and social issue such as the organic farming .
Organic farming, also known as ecological farming or biological farming, where agriculture bodies use fertilizers of organic origin such as compost manure, green manure, and bone meal etc and places stress on the techniques such as crop rotation and companion planting . Unfortunately the inclination towards
Inorganic farming is causing tremendous harm to the quality of soil . The various harvests cultivated through inorganic means of farming which become the parts of human meals, are causing health hazards like cancer, lungs and kidney diseases and hence farmers must opt organic farming to make the generations healthy.

A solo singing competition was held under the umbrella of department of Music. Children from Primary and Junior wings participated in the contest. The finalists were selected for the final stage through various singing sessions at preliminary level. The finalists showed their latent singing talent .The ripples emanated from children's melodious voice , mesmerized all the listeners.
Solo singing contestants were judged under three categories i.e Linnet Canary and Nightingale.

Knowing what to say is sense, when to say it is intelligence, how to say it is wisdom, why and how to say it is enlightenment.? This intellect inspired the young minds of Taxsila to participate in Inter-House English debate competition. Debate is a self fulfilling prophecy input for the future success of students.
The Inter-house English Debate Competition was held for the class XI in two stages, preliminary and the final round. The selected participants for the final round were assigned the debate topic? ? Girls Feel More Peer Pressure Than Boys".All the debaters strongly put their views in favor and against the topic. All the participants answered the questions of the audience like a good conversationalist.

An English writing competition was conducted for the grades I & II. The event was organized by the Apsara Pencils under the guidance of resource person Mr.Ajit Singh.

Debate competition promotes problem solving and innovative thinking, and helps students to build links between words and ideas that make concepts more meaningful.
This is further added that in debate competition students are taught to synthesize the complex information, and to exercise creativity and implement different ways of knowing the spoken skills of the language.

The Inter-house English Debate Competition was held for the classes from VI to VIII in two stages, preliminary and the final round. The selected participants for the final round were assigned the debate topic? ?Are Violent Video Games and Movies Make Students to Behave Violently". The Content of the debate was really enlightening, and supported by the authentic data presented by the participants.

It was a live wire show of the communication skills mastered by the students, who were bubbling with the Initiative, enthusiasm and confidence.

School witnessed to a one-day adventure camp and robotics exhibition for the children of the school of classes from III to VIII. Under this camp, children participated in various activities such as warm-up exercise, team building exercise, zorbing commando net, balancing, rope ladder, archery, rifle shooting, land mines, aerial zigzag, trampolining, Burma bridge, rope course and sundries . The camp was organized under the supervision of skilled trainers. All the children participated in the robotics exhibition and understood the subtle principles of artificial intelligence.

The model on the discovery of famous scientist Sir CV Raman, to explain the blue color of water was the main centre of attraction. All the respected parents appreciated the efforts of children . The birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose was celebrated in the school as Parakram Diwas with gaiety and enthusiasm. On this occasion, a one-day Conclave named "I Am Also Subhash" was inaugurated with chanting of mantras in the Yagya Shala. Children from classes VI to XI of the school participated in the conclave. Children gave presentations on various incidents based on the life of Subhash Chandra Bose. In this, the children gave their views on Subhash Chandra Bose's educational life, relations with Mahatma Gandhi, establishment of Indian National Army, Subhas Chandra Bose's relations with Germany and Japan and various reports like Khosla Commission, Justice Mukherjee Commission enquiring the truth of his death. The children of the school staged songs and skits on various aspects based on the life of Subhas Chandra Bose. The auspicious day of Christ's birth was exhilarated as Christmas Week in the school. Students from classes UKG to VIII participated in the event with devotion, ardor and passion under which eye mesmerizing and lasting moral fables on the life of Christ embarked together by the talented boys and girls of the school.

The prominent attraction of the Christmas week was the showcasing of the movies in theatre which ignited the passion for learning, awareness and knowledge. It was knowledge blended entertainment muse for the budding learners. Different games were relished by the children. Christmas tree & santa Claus were artistically created by the students, which proved a great click. A wish box ornamented the event and wish bills were put in by the students. The wishes of trio were full filled by the school. The week's valediction marked with prayers of Jesus Christ and cultural program in honor of Christ by students of classes V to VIII.

Chairman Dr. Ompal congratulated the students, teachers on the successful conclusion of the event and sensitized the students to imbibe honesty, truth and devotion to duty and ancient philosophy of simple living & high thinking.

On Monday (14.11.2022) Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the school as Children's Day. The program was started with garlanding and lighting the lamp on the statue of P. Jawaharlal Nehru ji, which was done by the chairman of the school Dr. Ompal Singh ji and Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra. A special morning assembly was organized by the teachers of the school. Children presented poems, speeches, songs, plays etc. on the occasion of Children's Day. Through a play, a message was given to end the evil like child labour in the society. All the teachers of the school actively participated in the program and introduced the students to the personality and works of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Various sports competitions were also organized for the children. National Unity Day was celebrated with great pomp on the occasion of birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. First of all, Chairman of the school Dr. Ompal Singh and Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra garlanded the picture of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and lit the lamp. Children infused patriotism in purview with songs, slogans and speeches.
Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra administered the oath to the children, whose purpose was to take a pledge solemnly to ensure the internal security of the country. He also told the children about some famous incidents related to the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and motivated the children to give their level share to keep the country united. The aroma of celebration of Diwali festival at school filled every particle of purview with the fragrance of love for Lord Rama through various ceremonial activities like prayers, hymns, dances, plays , speeches, rangoli making and articles decoration.
Chairman of the school Dr. Ompal Singh and Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra garlanded the idols of Goddess Lakshmi & Almighty Ganesha and offered their prayer with the lighting of eleven lamps. A group of children presented Diwali greetings song through group dance. The children gave many informations related to the life of Lord Rama through their small speeches and songs. All the children of the four houses of the school, Azad, Gandhi, Nehru and Subhash respectively, showed their artistic talent by making very colorful rangolis. Apart from this, children also participated in poster making, greeting card making, diya , candle& toran decoration activities . Sixth Harnarayan memorial Inter School Volleyball tournament today culminated in an unending winning streak attained by players.

Event was organized in the memory of late Harnarayan Singh, grandfather of honourable chairman Dr. Om Pal Singh Singh. More than a dozen schools affiliated to CBSE from Meerut participated in the tournament. In the boys category, the winner team was of Taxsila Public School and the runner-up team was of St. Francis School.

In the girls' section also, the team of Taxsila Public School was the winner and the team of St. Francis School was the runner-up. Children from Taxsila Public School and other schools thoroughly enjoyed the two-day tournament and encouraged their respective teams.

Specially crafted medical camp was organized to diagnose the health index of all age groups of students of the school. The check-up included Growth monitoring (Height, weight )of children, General body check up (anemia ),
Nutritional counselling for children,
PCOD & menstrual issues of Girl child, Adolescent health, symptoms of malnutrition and diet plan of the school going children. The parents and students also discussed general health problems with the experts of medical team. Dietitian imparted golden tips to the parents and students about the selection of healthy food.

Taxsila Public School joined the global commemoration of the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri . The mesmerizing ambience of celebration evolved around the adroit performances and activities. Floral tribute was paid at the portraits of both eminent leaders by Taxsilians and promised to follow the sublime learnings from the lives of both legends.

With the aim to raise awareness about the values of sports: discipline, perseverance, sportsman spirit, teamwork, and to encourage public in large to take up sports and make it an integral part of their lives The various sports activities were arranged in the sports ground for all the students by the sports department. An additional game of handball was included by school's sports academy for the children.

Krishna Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna. Krishna, was born in Mathura on the 8th day of the dark fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada which comes in between the month of August and September.Devotees mark this auspicious occasion by observing a fast and praying to Krishna. They adorn their homes with flowers, diyas and lights while temples are also beautifully decorated and lit.
The entire life of Lord Krishna was spent in selfless service to the people. Seventy Sixth Independence day was celebrated with the undying feeling of patriotism. The vibrant Taxsilians as citizens of the thankful nation paid respect to the Martyrs of the freedom struggle and leaders who participated in the freedom movement.

Various songs of patriotism were sung and heroic plays based on the lives of the martyrs were played on the stage by the students with realistic emotions. Tears rolled down from the eyes of the every spectator.

The students took oath for being honest and pious nationalists to the motherland.

A packet of prepared rakhees will be sent to Ministry of Defence New Delhi for onward transmission of same to the Soldiers on the border.

Tree Plantation Drive was organized in the school. The program was started by the children with the staging of a play based on the effects of continuous felling of trees.
Watching the play, the audience applauded the characters of the play.

The plantation of Ashoka and Ashoka Pendula trees will uphold the rich aesthetic and artistic niche of the school campus and one more step towards making the campus lush green. Hargovind Khurana Botanical Park of School is another testimony to the commitment of school to be a Green Ready School.The children gifted saplings to the Chairman and Principal as a token of love. The school's ground reverberated with the slogan of Plant trees , Save earth .

On this occasion, the chairman of the school, Dr Ompal Singh addressed the children and encouraged them to keep the earth green by planting one tree on the birthday of each family member. He also emphasized on 3R postulate(Reuse, Recycle, Reduce) to make earth more safer place for everyone participating in the ecosystem. To understand the importance of food in the lives of children, the school organized a one-day food festival. The children and parents of the school from classes UKG to III took part in the Festival.
All the parents participated in the Mission Healthy Food Workshop.The main points of the workshop were healthy diet, calorie chart, BMI, malnutrition in children, impacts of fast food on child's health, obesity etc
An amazing mouthwatering Food Festival was arranged by the Taxsilians from classes UKG to Ill to inculcate the benefits of adopting healthy food habits. Charts were displayed with the required information on the food items made up of millets, whole grains and fibre ingredients full of nutrious content.

The food stalls were arranged with a variety of Indian foods stuff from different states. This Food Festival was observed to teach children not only about healthy eating habits but also sharing the food with everyone without discrimination of cast & creed . Above all they all learnt the
important lesson 'Wasting food is a sin'.

Valedictory day of the "Shakespeare's week" celebration was culminated with a play 'Macbeth' staged by the students of the school with great enthusiasm. The Shakespeare's week was started on April 20, 2021 with the biography and the contributions of the protagonist in enrichment of English language, literature & Lexicon Sonnets, Plays, Poems and the words coined by Shakespeare. The Play 'The King Lear' by Shakespeare remained the centre of interest among the students. The presentation of the eight famous Sonnets by students of classes X and XII mesmerized the audience remembering the natural literary talent of Shakespeare. The Shakespeare week celebration also included the recitation of famous poems of Shakespeare by the students of literary committee.

73rd Republic Day was celebrated with the great enthusiasm at school on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. The students participated through virtual medium in the celebration well guided by the Art & Culture department and IT department. In the first session of celebration the students were told by the teachers about the importance the Republic Day, religious integrity, secular behaviour in the society and sundries. The students watched various programs based on patriotism prepared by the students on the virtual screen.
In the second session the students were taken to the ground virtually for flag hoisting ceremony followed by the stage programmes. The flag was hoisted by honourable Principal followed by National Anthem. The female teachers presented a patriotic song? ?Jhanda uncha rahe hamara? followed by chanting of patriotic slogans by teachers and students. Then Mrs.Shashi Sharma gave a heart touching speech on the Republic Day, followed by the patriotic song by Mr.Gopal Sharma? Hai preet jahan ki reet sada?. Mrs.Sangita gave a speech imbibed of the great patriotic feelings and sentiments. Mrs. Neetu Singh presented a heart touching patriotic poem. The students of the school paid mighty salute to the freedom fighters, Army Personnel, Scientists, Farmers and every true Indian who directly or indirectly participated in the progress of nation through the virtual meeting. A special song was made on this salute event and was released on the YouTube Channel of the school.
Dr. Ompal Singh, commemorate the event of the Republic Day to the children online, while bowing down to the martyrs who sacrificed for the nation, narrated some of their stories and also emphasized what should be our duty towards the country. The Principal of the school, Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra, addressed in his speech the importance of being a republic country. He also emphasized on the meaning of real freedom in the modern context and urged the students to use their skills and knowledge in the development of the nation through the involvement in areas like IT, Medical Research, Modern farming etc.

Valedictory day of Christmas Celebration week was celebrated today with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration week was started on December 20, 2021 for classes L.KG. to VIII. Christmas observance is an endeavour to join the world in celebrating the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ and His eloquent teachings. A huge carnival of events was at display including Movie Shows which remained the centre of attraction among the students. The movie shows were organized for all the above mentioned classes imbibing ethics, morality, mercy and patriotism. The Christmas festival week included Movie Shows,

Craft Show,
Ground & Sport activities.
Craft master from Rajasthan Mr. Kale Rana rendered deeper insinghts into the intricacies of the creative paper crafts to the students. The same was relished by the students. They made Barbie dolls, pigeons, decorative frills and Christmas buntings and sundries.

Students decorated X-mas tree, crafted gifts for exchange among students. candles were made and decorated.

eco-friendly colours . Lightening of Diyas was done by Chaiman Dr. Ompal Singh and Principal Dr. Pravin Kumar Pathra along with the echoes of hymns to Godess Laxmi and Lord Sri Ram. Students of all houses participated in candle decoration, Hadhi decoration, Toran making,card and poster making competitions with a high enthusiasm and interest. The teachers participated in a written exam based on the topics discussed in workshop and certificates were distributed to the successful teachers. The chairman of school Dr. Ompal Singh congratulated all the teachers for the successful completion of programme.

The program coordinators Mr. Gopal Sharma and Mr.Suresh Rawat extended all the necessary help to make this workshops more fruitful.
Dussehra/Durga Navami Celebration at the School
The auspicious festival of Dussehra and Durga Navami was celebrated today with the great fervour and the deep seated faith bestowed in our rich heritage and culture at Taxsila Public School.

Our students presented Sampuran Ramayan flawlessly on the occasion, chanted religious couplets (Shalokas) and presented dances plunged in our vintage history belonged to our saints, our Icons like lord Shri Rama and Ada-Shakti Durga to reestablish the powers of truth, sacrifice and good deeds over the nefarious designs, evil thoughts and malice.

Honourable chairman Dr. Ompal singh and principal Dr. Pravin kumar Pathra wished a happy, prosperous Durga Navami and Dussehra to the students, teachers and the parents on this auspicious occasion.
Gold Medal won by our student Kunal Chaudhary Class XII E
Our Student CONFERRED WITH LAURELS in the district level athletic competition organized by the Districts Athletic Association Meerut.

Our Student Kunal Chaudhary of Class XII E won the first prize in the 800 meter race ( 18 Years and under) in the record time of 2:05:52 seconds and won the Gold Medal in the event.
Principal Mr.Praveen Kumar Pathra felicitated the student in school assembly and presented him the certificate issued by the District Athletic Association Meerut affiliated to the Athletic Federation of India.

An another feather has been added in our cap by our student Pragya Pandey of class IX A. She won the Gold Medal in the district level athletic meet held by the Districts Athletic Association Meerut.
Pragya Pandey won the Gold Medal in the 100 meter race ( 14 Years and under) which she completed in 15 seconds.

Celebration of Gandhi Jayanti
In the synchronization with the national as well as global commemoration of the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and 117th birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri the father of the nation and the son of the soil respectively.
Taxsila Public School also organized meticulously planned celebrations at its campus which was participated by students from the various classes enthusiastically.
Floral tributes were made to the portraits of both eminent leaders Mahatama Gandhi and Shastri ji by Chairman Sir, Principal and staff.
The children of the various classes presented and exhibited the stories regarding the glorious life of both legends through various skits, drama, songs and slogans.
The children took oath to follow the conclusions of the lives of Gandhi ji and Shastri Ji.
